Baggage Allowance
- When you fly Emirates, your ticket fare and cabin class decide your carry-on luggage limit.
- While the economy class passengers are allowed 1 carry-on bag, the business class and first class passengers are allowed up to 2 carry-on bags.
- The size of each a carry-on bag cannot be more than 55cm × 38 cm × 20 cm. Note that Emirates count handbags and laptop bags as carry-on luggage.
- Except Economy Special, all ticket fares include 2 checked baggage allowance.
- While the checked baggage weight limit for economy class passengers is 23 kg per bag, the business and first class passengers can bring bags of 32 kg.
- The passengers with Economy Special ticket are allowed only 1 checked bag, weighing not more than 23 kg.
Check-In
The airline provides online check-in services for most locations in the network.
- You can use web check-in which starts 48 hours before your flight.
- You can check-in online between 48 hours and 90 minutes before the departure of your flight. You can save a lot of time by printing your boarding pass at home itself or downloading it to your mobile.

Boarding
Emirates Airline has an untraditional boarding process. Alike any other airline, Emirates allows premium cabin passengers and elite status holders to board first. When it comes to the economy cabin passengers, they are allowed to board the plane based on where they sit on the plane. The airline will board the back-seat passengers first and then those who are suppose to sit at the front. All the flights of Emirates cut boarding 20 minutes prior to departure.
