Allegiant Air is most commonly referred to as Ultra low-cost carrier. This American airline has its headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. It operates its flights on numerous domestic routes. Allegiant Air has over 100 aircraft within its fleet.

Baggage Allowance
- Allegiant Air allows you to bring one personal item onboard for no charge. A personal item could be anything like a briefcase, a purse, or a small backpack. The bag must be small enough to be able to fit underneath the seat in front of you. A personal item’s dimensions cannot be more than 7 x 15 x 16 inches.
- On flying Allegiant Air, you can also bring a carry-on or a checked bag; however, you will need to pay some additional fee for the same. The maximum size allowance for a carry-on bag is 9 x 14 x 22 inches. If purchased online, a carry-on bag would cost you $13-$22. If purchased at the airport, the carry-on baggage fee could be as high as $50.
- Similarly, a checked bag cannot weigh more than 40 pounds with maximum dimensions allowance to be 80 linear inches. If purchased online, a checked bag would cost you $18-$35.If purchased at the airport, the same checked baggage fee could be as high as $50. A passenger can pre-purchase up to 4 checked bags.
- For oversized or overweight bags, an additional penalty fee will range between $50 and $75.
Cabin Class
The Allegiant planes only have one cabin class which is economy. As per the low airfares, the airline’s planes feature comfortable, leather seats offering standard legroom. However, the Allegiant Air planes also feature seats with extra legroom. Most of the planes offer 90% standard seating and 10% with extra legroom. While the standard seats’ pitch is 30 inches, those with extra legroom have 34 inches pitch.
On its Boeing 757 aircrafts, the airline has introduced “Giant Seats.” The passengers can upgrade to more spacious and wider seats, offering more legroom and headrests. Each giant seat offers 36 inches of legroom and a 25-inch seat width.
Check-in
The check-in closes 45 minutes before the departure of the Allegiant flight. Make sure that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight’s departure.
You can check-in online via mobile app or through the airline’s official website. You can also choose to check-in at the airport and collect your boarding pass.
Boarding a flight
